About Inspired Images

Inspired Images is a Web site created to promote my work as a photographer in the religious press. It began as a Web design class project, but ultimately turned into an opportunity to share images taken on assignments around Wisconsin and beyond.

The name "Inspired Images" was chosen for this site because it captures the essence of my photography work — images inspired in some way by faith. Whether it be an ordination, youth rally, baptism or nursing home visit, these moments of human interaction often lead to Christ present among us.

I recently opened a Twitter account to post updates on all things photography, journalism and religion. If you mix those three ingredients together, you pretty much have a profile of my life.

As an extension of my work as a religious writer and photographer, two coffee table books featuring my photos were recently released. In 2003, the Catholic Herald published "An Adventure in Fidelity," which captured the first year of Archbishop Timothy Dolan's service in Milwaukee.

In 2005, I authored "Our Journey Through Faith: A History of the Diocese of Superior." This coffee table book celebrated the Superior Diocese's centennial and featured many of my photographs.

Most recently, I have moved into the multimedia arena, creating audio slideshows. You can view one of my slideshows, posted on my YouTube account, below.
